Structural & Infrastructure
Experience in the design of industrial installations concerns mainly large industrial complexes such as power generation plants and desalination plants in Greece and Middle East. Some of these projects were designed directly for Public Power Authorities and others for contractors participating in consortiums awarded turnkey contracts to design and implement such projects.
Within these projects or independently, extensive experience was acquired by the Firm in the design of major machine hall structures, large workshops, special storage structures such as water tanks, silos or fuel tanks and sea water intake structures. Similar experience was acquired for the design of high rise (up to 200m) stacks.
Since its creation in 1974 until today, the Firm has been continuously involved in designing structures and infrastructure for power generation units. These units include Lignite powered, Diesel powered, Gas powered and Combined cycle
generation units as well as desalination plants. Some of the power plants designed by the firm are illustrated and listed on the back of this page.

The project target is the reinforcement of the water supply system for the greater area of the city of Algiers (3,000,000 population approx) and the Tizi-Ouzou to Algiers corridor through the transfer of water supplied by the existing Taksebt dam and reservoir.
The system includes water supply conduits (98 km), a pumping station, a water treatment plant (605,000m³/day), 5 reservoirs, 4 tunnels (1.2 to 3.2km long) and a SCADA teletransmission system.
Services provided were: Assistance to the Evaluation Committee in the evaluation of the technical and financial offers and technical and administrative assistance to the Client during the construction period, commissioning and trial operation of the project.

The Solar Village in Likovrissi, Athens consists of 435 apartments.
This experimental project tested the optimal use of 17 different combinations of active and passive solar energy systems with conventional
heating systems, aiming at energy saving and environmental protection.
The scope of work included:
Water Supply / Sewage and Rainwater / Fire protection / HVAC / Lighting /Power / Electrical Substation / Telephones - Data / R-TV / Lightning and Earthing / Elevators.
